She lectures on Garden Design at Nottingham Trent University and gives talks to horticultural clubs and societies.

MNDA A Brief History In Time GardenSue Hayward is the designer and project manager
of the "Stephen Hawking Garden for Motor Neurone Disease" garden that will be exhibited at this years RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

This garden has been created to raise awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and is based on an idea by Martin Anderson MBE - one of the founder members of the MNDA.

It will be built by a team of landscapers and volunteers from the East Midlands region

This garden is sponsored by Brewin Dolphin

This garden follows on from the success enjoyed by the "MND Shetland Croft House Garden" - also designed by Sue Hayward - that attained a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2008.
The Garden also won the 'BBC's Peoples Favourite Award' in the Small Gardens category.
