Sue is also able to work on challenging and interesting projects both nationally and abroad.

She lectured on Garden Design at Nottingham Trent University and gives talks to horticultural clubs and societies.

www.stephenhawkinggardenformnd.org.uk/Sue Hayward was the designer and project manager of the "Stephen Hawking Garden for Motor Neurone Disease" at this years RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The garden was created to raise awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and is based on an idea by Martin Anderson MBE - one of the founder members of the MNDA.

It was built by landscapers Soar Valley Services - and volunteers from the East Midlands region.
The garden attained a Bronze Flora medal.

The garden follows on from the success enjoyed by the "MND Shetland Croft House Garden" - also designed by Sue Hayward - that attained a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2008.
The Garden also won the 'BBC's Peoples Favourite Award' in the Small Gardens category.
